Our Program
Learning & So Much More
At Tree of Life, not only do we encourage learning, but we also want the children to develop a love for learning. Our facility is set up to promote challenging play and learning choices. Our centers allow the kids to explore and experience various activities, offering a more hands-on learning approach.
Our teachers create a caring and nuturing environment where children can feel free to be creative. Children will be able to use a variety of art materials, manipulative, and housekeeping equipment.
We recommend that parents talk to their child’s teacher on a regular basis to discuss their activities.

Philosophy & Mission
Tree os Life Christian Learning Academy provides a safe, nurturing environment and interesting activities for children in the Tyrone, GA community. Aside from our standard learning curriculum, we encourage the development of friendships, age appropriate physical activities and opportunities to discover interests and talents.

Tree of Life will plan activities and provide children with a variety of experiences.
-
Language Development: Books, writing materials, music, stories, games, finger plays, poems, and flannel board stories.
-
Large muscle skills: Balls, hoops, bubbles, running, jumping, dancing, and outdoor play.
-
Small muscle skills: Puzzles, art and craft activities, manipulative toys, and blocks.
-
Creative expression: Dramatic play props, puppets, musical instruments, and movement activities.
-
Self-help Skills: Cleaning up after ourselves, helping with mealtime preparations, daily responsibilities, and dressing ourselves.
We encourage independence as the children learn to be cooperative, manage transitions, and develop friendships with their peers. Children will be told ahead of time when a change will be made, to make transitions easier for them. A rest time after lunch will be provided for all children.
Children, including infants and toddlers, will go outdoors daily, weather permitting.
A schedule of daily activities is available upon request.
